I am currently assisting a well established firm of Chartered Certified Accountants in Darlington in the recruitment of a Payroll and VAT clerk.
Some of the responsibilities for the role include:
Process company payroll, daily, weekly, or monthly
maintain payroll processing systems and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data
Calculate employee’s take home pay after time records benefits and taxes
Answering questions based on wages, deductions, bonuses, pension schemes
Keep systems up to date and issue p45/p60 forms.
